Better Inside EP 21

Better Inside Newsletter

Hey Gang!

I have greatly enjoyed my self-development journey. I have lost almost 10 kg in weight and feel much more productive both physically and mentally. Journaling has become my new daily habit; it seems I can't go a day without it. I've also been learning and practicing focused meditation, which I learned from the Huberman Lab podcast. The technique involves a 13-minute daily meditation where you close your eyes, breathe in and out, and focus solely on the nerves in your forehead. In the first few days, it can be a bit uncomfortable because our brains tend to wander, but it's all about consistent practice. My focus has been improving day by day.

For the past two years, my goal has been to incorporate meditation and journaling into my daily routine, and I'm pleased to see how I've turned these practices into daily habits.

Additionally, I've been learning about content creation and YouTube work, which is giving me a new direction in life. If you're thinking about pursuing YouTube, commit yourself for the next 700 days before assessing its worth. It's essential to give your full effort, just like going on a blind date with YouTube. It can be a rewarding venture.

This morning, I had the opportunity to connect with over 35 young people from various universities and conducted a session on persuasive presentation skills. I felt very positive vibes afterward. It's all about our mission and vision. In Pakistan, many universities still struggle with helping students choose their future career paths, leading to people being afraid to make bold career choices. I hope that Generation Z and Generation Alpha will soon break this stigma.

I've also been practicing manifestation, and my bio-hack is to smile while visualizing. It's nearly impossible to think and feel negatively while smiling, so you can infuse your manifestations with positive energy.

Love

Favorite Quote:

One of the most universal causes of self-doubt and depression: trying to impress people you don’t like. Stressing to impress is fine, but do it for the right people-those whom you want to emulate.

Framework for Content Creation:

I've found the Simple 7 Questions Framework super useful for my video and writing projects. It's been a game-changer in understanding my audience. Lots of creators use it, and the one I'm sharing here is just a simplified version.

1. What is the age of the user or audience ?

2. Where do they currently stay or reside?

3. What's their occupation or profession ?

4. What's their current income?

5. What's their education or qualification ?

6. What's their marital status ?

7. What languages do they speak and understand?

Now, whenever you're thinking about writing or making a video, consider these seven questions. Ask yourself, 'Will the person I'm targeting like this video or piece of writing?

See you in next week 🙂
